Inspired by a very troubling and beautiful time in my life, when my nineteen year old self packed up my belongings to take a two day train out to Arizona. I decided to live in the very vibrant nowhere land desert outside of Prescott Arizona with my best friend & partner at the time, as well his wonderful family. A time of healing and hurting, definitely growing. I will always be so grateful for the days spent out laughing in that garage, hiking all over the place, driving on those surreal desert roads.

Thank you for welcoming me as your own child at a time in my life I did not see how badly I ached for someone to show me what that felt like. I will carry you both with me forever. I will always remember the time we spent living out west and I will hold it so near and dear to my heart for the rest of my life. “I am sorry the world could not keep you safe.
